Become or Nominate A Speaker - Speaking at Paris Talks

The Paris Talks conference will feature more than 12 innovative and influential speakers and entertainers. If you know someone who belongs on the Paris Talks stage, or if you believe you belong there yourself, please reach out. We’d love to hear from you! The 2018 edition's main theme has been announced and it's “The Human Species In The Year 2075”. We're not accepting any speaking application or recommendation for this edition as this process is closed now. You can still send in your application, but this will be considered for the coming editions (2019 onwards).

Please use our speaker application (and) recommendation form.

FAQ: Speaking at Paris Talks

Paris Talks won’t be like any other typical conference.

The Paris Talks delegates and curation team have high expectations of the speakers; together with our partners, we work with speakers well before the conference in shaping their presentations so that they can be successful and fit the Paris Talks stage.

Here’s an opportunity to give THE TALK of your life.

How can I suggest a speaker?

Easy. Just go to our speaker application (and) recommendation form, and fill in as much information as you can. This form will go directly to our curation team.

What if I suggested a person I don't know personally? I can see you guys are asking for their email address, and I don't know it.

Sure, please do! The only thing you’ll need to do is to let our curation team how you've heard about this person, and why you think they should speak at Paris Talks.

I want to Speak at Paris Talks. Can I suggest myself?

Yes, of course!

I want to become a Sponsor and have an opportunity to speak at Paris Talks. Can I still apply?

Sponsoring Paris Talks will surely give you so many benefits, but a guaranteed speaking slot will have to be negotiated with our curation team.

Is there a deadline for suggesting a speaker?

We accept nominations at least 6 months before the upcoming edition (End October 2017 for the March 2018 edition). By doing this, we’ll be able to research the speakers carefully and make the best decision on our speaker roster.

What are your keynotes or panels like?

At Paris Talks, every delegate hears every presentation. We basically don’t have a breakout session, tracks, keynotes. No panels neither.

Do you guys pay your speakers?

Paris Talks does not pay its speakers. We do, however, cover travel costs and provide excellent hotel accommodation -- as well as a covetable pass to two days. This coverage is only for speakers coming from different parts of the world except Europe. The offered benefits to speakers include pre-conference coaching and training, special events for networking (before and after the talks), the gift bag, an opportunity to sell/promote their products (strict rules apply. More on this from the curation team), a web archive of the full conference and a beautifully produced, broadcast-quality video. We want to commit ourselves to creating a beneficial experience on all sides.
