Sumana is a Paris-based singer-songwriter from India. While she was destined for a corporate career, an encounter in a Parisian metro with the subway musician, Vanupié, changed her life and set her on her musical journey. Sumana followed the footsteps of her mentor and started busking in the Parisian metros. Gradually, she embraced the path of an independent artist. Her passion, conviction, courage, and success slowly allowed her to step away from her corporate job and follow her artistic dreams. Sumana released her first album titled Easy in June 2022. She performs regularly in and around Paris.
